Genevive Estacaan joined Oxfam in March 2014 as Information and Communications Officer (InfoComms) under the Typhoon Haiyan Response in the Philippines. Over the course of her role, she helped manage internal communications supporting hubs set up across the affected areas in central Philippines. A year after, she moved to her new role as Communication Officer, supporting overall communications needs of the three major country programmes. Prior to Oxfam, she worked at a national broadcasting organization which focused on community services and humanitarian radio.
